Ecademy Press can make your book happen!
Cooperative book publishing delivers
professional looking books for a fixed fee.
Detailed information for authors here
At the beginning, when Groundmark Press agrees to publish your work, we will find out the costs and budget for the project. Your costs will include reasonable fees that will be repaid once your book starts to sell. After these initial fees are repaid to you and production costs are covered, you will receive a percentage of sales in regular royalties Your agent, if you have one, will receive a commission based on net sales, as well.
Step 1
Follow the query process described in the Submission Guidelines. When you receive notification that we'd like to review your material, send us your manuscript.
Step 2
We'll read your submission and do some preliminary market research to determine your book's salability. Then we'll contact you within six weeks with our best opinion about the publishability and marketability of your book.
Step 3
It will be a mutual decision to proceed with the publication of your book. Once we agree to go ahead, you will continue to write and hone your book, and we will fashion a contract for your work. Your contract with us will include the price structure for your particular project, your royalty arrangement, your agent's commission (if you are working with an agent), and a clear accounting for all the related costs to produce your book.
Step 4
Together, we will determine a schedule for the completion of your book. This schedule will include everything from the moment you send us your final manuscript to when the book actually arrives in stores and online outlets.
- Step 5
You will make the revisions you and your editor agree upon and submit another version of the text.
Step 6
Your book will be copyedited for grammar and style by one of Groundmark
Press editors.
Step 7
Your book is printed, shipped to the distributor, to stores, and to you. At the same time, the book will be listed on the Groundmark Press website for sale; implementation of the marketing plan will begin; copyright will be applied for.
